WRITER / DIRECTOR
Ben Mazzotta received his BA in Image Arts from Ryerson University, where he shot, edited and directed several short films. He was also co-producer, cinematographer and editor on the award-winning film, Use Once and Destroy. He then worked for nine years at the University of Toronto’s Multimedia Production Department, where he produced, directed, shot, edited and distributed numerous university funded, educational documentaries.
His company Little Engine Moving Pictures completed its first commissioned piece for OMNI television’s Signature Series called DiverseCity, a pilot for a proposed series telling the history of Toronto’s vibrant ethnic community. Ben also works as a creative consultant and freelance illustrator/animator for such clients as Teletoon, Traffik Brand Communication, Enterprise, Creative Impact, Imarion Inc., Spafax Canada and several other ad agencies, and production companies.

JOHN L’ECUYER
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
John L’Ecuyer is a renowned Canadian director, writer, and producer. He has directed over forty feature films and TV shows over the past decade, and was nominated for a Genie for Best Screenplay Adaptation for Curtis's Charm in 1996. His films and episodic shows – Use Once and Destroy, On the Verge of a Fever, Prom Queen: The Marc Hall Story, Choice: The Henry Morgentaler Story, ReGenesis and Nero Wolfe among them - have won awards at film festivals in Toronto, Montreal, Berlin, and all over North America and Europe.
